The bf and I went on a ride and it was a good time. They have headphones so you can listen to the commentary about the history of the railroad and the area if you would like but then also not listen if that's what you want. There were a lot of kids on the train. we saw a bald eagle's nest. I saw on the website that you can pay half price or so and take the train one way then ride your bike back. I think we will take advantage of that when it gets nicer out. And there are other occasions where the train has more than just the usual trip. for instance the harry potter themed train and the Thomas the Tank Engine which I'm sure a lot of tots would just love. As well as beer tasting and wine tastings. There are also nice cars to ride in and those can also be rented out for events.
We had a good time just sitting there enjoying ourselves for 3 hours or so on a Saturday.
