  • Perfect for McGill families. I have stayed here three times and loved it every time. My daughter is a student at McGill and it is extremely convenient. Unlike most hotels in the U.S. in this price range, the rooms are big and clean and the facility is accommodating and comfortable. I'm a swimmer, and appreciate the pool, which is open about April-October (and heated). The hot tub is a nice touch as well. Big dispensers of infused water in the lobby are a nice touch, and the lobby bar is warm and comfortable. Probably the best feature is the staff. During all of our visits they were very friendly, helpful and respectful. I highly recommend it, but I didn't want to go the full 5 stars because I'm not sure if I'll ever go somewhere that earns it! Note: we have not eaten in the restautrant.
