| - I had my first appointment at Cherry Lash Lounge, CLL, the week before X-mas. It's taken me a while to decide whether to post my experience or not. After diligently thinking, I'm convinced that I need to post my experience, so other customers do not suffer the same disappointment I did.
I was extremely disappointed. On Dec 1st, I had gotten fake lashes at another business in Vegas. Another teacher, who gets her lashes done at the Cherry Lash Lounge on Rainbow, highly recommended Cherry Lash Lounge to get my eyelashes fixed. I was thrilled.
I made my appointment online and I made an appointment for "PLAN B" for $99.00. My appt was with Carla. Carla being new stated that I had "gaps" in my eyelashes. The gaps were caused by the first fake set of lashes by another business.
I showed Carla exactly what I wanted. I took in a pair of fake lashes that I really love how they look. Carla then went to talk to the Manager, which was the girl at the front desk, receptionist. When Carla came back she stated that I would need "Featherized" lashes to "cover" the gaps and get the look I wanted.
Not once was I given an option on 1) curl type 2) lash thickness 3) lash color 4) Lash length, 5) Lash type (silk, plastic, real hair). I've completed research and other places let you "choose" or give you "options."
Not once was I given the option, to "Not get lashes" and "wait" until my own lashes grew back to "achieve" the look that I was after.
I was then told that because I had "Gaps" Carla wasn't Trained in "Featherized" lashes and I would need to wait for another esthetician and that the new charge would be $165.00 and not $99.00
After 2 hours, when I looked in the mirror the work completed was not the "Look" that I had paid for. I had taken a pair of fake lashes to show them exactly what I wanted. My own natural lashes (fully grown) are fuller, longer and thicker in comparison with what Cherry Lash Lounge put on me. I was devastated. The tecnichian showed me a "before" and "after" picture with my "eyes closed." I don't know how many women go around with their "EYES CLOSED." I sure don't. I requested a certain look that requires your eyes to be "OPEN" not closed.
I'm disappointed that Cherry Lash Lounge would not be honest and upfront with me and say, "You're natural lashes need to grow back in the gappy areas before we can schedule you an appointment and then you'll be able to achieve the look your after."
Nope, instead, they charged more money, for a job that they knew would not give me the look I wanted. They were interested in making the "sale" and booking the appointment and making money.
Furthermore, they wanted to sell me some "LASHIQ" and for me to take biotin and vitamin K to help my lashes grown back. If they knew, my lashes needed supplements and "Lashiq" why not be honest and tell me that before procceeding with a "job" that wouldn't be completed to the customer's 100% satisfaction.
Nope, they wanted to "milk" me and make more money.
I'm completely disappointed. I hope that no one ever has the same experience that I had.
To make things worse, the lashes I was put on, started coming off by themselves without me touching them the very next day. It's not a nice experience when people keep finding lashes on your cheeks from just talking and smiling. This is definitely my worst experience ever. I'm seriously thinking of contacting the Better Business Bureau. There is absolutely no guarantee on their work or "customer's rights."
Why couldn't they have been honest and just rescheduled me for a month out and evaluated the conditions of my lashes then?
