If you're going to stay on a ranch (animals & fowl nearby), you should expect the "old west" type of atmosphere at this motel. Bonnie Springs Ranch was once a cowboy's watering hole, due to the natural spring water nearby. I loved staying on Halloween after a friend's wedding and fun with the haunted houses and the zombie bus ! Bonnie Springs Ranch celebrates Halloween by converting into Bonnie Screams ! One thing I should have done is check the weather report - it got down to the 50's after the sun went down & we weren't prepared with warm clothing for the outdoor activities. Upon waking & taking my dogs to potty, the sunrise was magnificent - especially with the glow cast upon the rock mountains to the west. Hearing roosters crow & smelling the fresh air & horses...well, for this "country girl" it was a treat. I felt like I was miles away from the hustle of the city (Las Vegas) and gone back in time 100 years. LOVED the entire experience!!!
