  • Extreme and unnecessary markups PLUS unauthorized and poorly done work! My car had some rough shifting so I took it in for a diagnosis. They told me I had a bad valve cover gasket which was leaking oil. They quoted $1048 - saying that even though they didn't know the condition of the ignition coils and spark plugs, they'd replace them in addition to the valve cover gasket. Plus, despite me only going in for a diagnosis, they filled up my (already-full) oil, which resulted in it being filled to about two inches past full. They did this without my knowledge or consent. I had a friend order just the valve cover gasket and do the fix for me. The part was only $22. My car has run fine since. I went somewhere else for another diagnosis to see if the fix worked, and they said the car was fine now. Altogether, I got a ridiculous quote with unnecessary and expensive fixes plus work that I didn't even ask for and was done poorly. If you go here, get a second opinion to see if the price is warranted. Or just don't go here since they're shady about messing with cars without consent.
