My boyfriend and I went in Friday and it was full of feople in line by 6pm, which is long because they opened at 5! The wait wasn't that bad, probably about 10 minutes, the same time you'd wait if you were going to wait at a restaurant. It was also nice because it was outdoors and a great place for family and friends of all ages.
There were lots of food trucks there that sold things from elotes (Mexican corn) to elaborate dole whip pineapple desserts, there's something for everyone! This is my first time to something like this and I liked it a lot! Lots of foods to try but a bit pricy. I would suggest coming to a place like this with a group of people as portions are a bit on the larger side and prices for each tray was about $10. I wish they did half sized portions so I wouldn't be too full and have a chance to eat my way around the park.
There's also a main stage as well with lots of seating for everyone to sit and enjoy some entertainment. Around the whole lot, there's freestanding tables to stand by and eat and there's also lots of picnic tables in certain areas. There were also carnival games and rides too which is perfect for the kids!
I felt like the food trucks from foodie fest were mostly local. I told my husband that we should try foods from different states since we don't get to hit the road that often but there was probably only a handful or two. The rest was all from Vegas and I'm not knocking them or anything, that's great that they are local and we did support our local food trucks but it would have been cool to get an array of trucks from other places as well.
All in all, when there's another event like this, we will definitely be going to it!
