I took my Golden Retriever in to Fluffy Tails for a bath & brush. It was the 1st time I'd had her groomed there, although I had taken her in 3 other times to have her nails trimmed. The groomer came out to meet us and I told her that I would like her to shave the feet, but not to trim her anywhere else. I mentioned 3 times that I did not want her trimmed anywhere but her feet. She wasn't matted anywhere. They had said it would be about 4 hours. Almost 5 hours later when I called he said they had just finished her. I picked her up and her entire body had been completely trimmed. I called to talk to the manager/owner and she apologized. I asked for a refund for the grooming since I was very clear about what I didn't want. She told me I could come in and she would give me $10. At that point it was obvious I would be taking my dog somewhere else in the future. I went back the next day, the same man behind the desk asked me if he could help me, I gave him my name, he handed me the $10 and didn't say a word. If I had a local business and something like this happened I would be more concerned with trying to keep a customer and the future referrals.
