| - Honestly, I love doing work at Aroma. The food is great, wifi is always on point and drinks are the best!
I can't say I feel the same way about this location. I really like to go to Shops at Don Mills so as a freelancer it made sense to try working at a location that I like. From the outside, this Aroma is the perfect location because it has a nice patio for warmer weather, big windows (super key) to let light in during the day and a good amount of seating. So for reading a book, having a coffee date or doing some writing, it would be a good place to go.
But the second you need to think about using a computer I would turn you away instantly. I've done work at multiple Aroma Espresso Bars and the staff has always been friendly.
However at this location I believe a man who may have been the owner said I wasn't able to plug in a power bar (their ONE AND ONLY ONE OUTLET was full, so I thought it would be nice to share resources by letting more people who also seemed to be doing their work plug in their laptops [I thought sharing was caring]). He gave me a fair solution which was to work at the bar until an outlet was free. Which I took up because it made sense but, still...
Overall, this Aroma has all the ideals of a good location, however, I just don't feel the same warm welcoming feelings I do at other Aromas so specifically for freelancers and people that need outlets, I wouldn't recommend this location.
