  • I had seen Shamika here and called for my next appointment with her. I was told by Michael, the owner, that she was no longer doing hair and had gone back to school. This was a flat out lie, but not knowing that at the time I kept my appt at the salon and Michael cut and colored my hair. In all honesty I left incredibly unhappy. My color, although the tone was nice, looked like it had already been growing out for a few weeks. While I asked for just a trim, Michael told me "he often does what HE wants to do to clients hair, regardless what they ask for because he knows best." He cut 3-4 inches off of my hair after I had asked for a slight trim. Ready to make my next appt down the road, I looked elsewhere and FOUND Shamika at another salon. I was very relieved and extremely disappointed with the actions of Sweet Salon.
