Reason for staying:
Drove from San Diego to attend a concert at the Wild Horse Pass Casino. We stayed one night in Room 228. I've had a good experience at other Super 8 Motels, but this one had the following good and bad points.
Good Points:
1. The price was reasonable for the room quality.
2. The beds were comfortable.
3. The plugs on the nightstand were very convenient for charging my cell phone.
4. Parking was convenient to where the room was located.
Bad Points:
1. Wanted to pay for the room in cash. Was required to put down a $100 refundable deposit on a credit card. Was not told about this when making reservation.
2. Customer service was OK. Not enthusiastic when answering the phone at night.
3. The bathroom towels need to be replaced.
4. The bathtub is really bad with paint chipping. The whole fiberglas insert needs to be replaced.
5. The lamp shade had a hole in it.
6. The table/desk was dangerously wobbly and seemed like it could break at any moment.
7. Sound proof the walls!!! The rooms around had bass music blaring and the TV's were super loud.
8. Trash that was outside the grounds when we checked in was still there the next morning.
9. Need to put in an elevator for the second floor rooms.
Summary:
It was decent hotel to stop at and sleep for one night. I would 'probably not' go back.
