  • This is by far the worst McDonalds I have ever visited. The first incident included a wrong order from the drive-thru (forgot to include an order of fries that I'd paid for) - I understand that this happens and was partially my fault as I should have checked before driving away, but it was just the first in a string of bad experiences. Next, on two seperate occasions I'd gone in for a simple chocolate milkshake. A staple at McDonalds. Nope - they were all out. The first time the cashier hadn't realized and I'd paid first and so asked for my money back. Needing a manager to refund the money, this guy came over and tried hard to sell me another flavor instead. Offering other options, I understand. Taking over a minute to try to convince me that I wanted something I didn't when I kept repeating that I just needed a refund was plain old bad customer service. The absolute worst though, was one night when I went in for a sundae. The place was nearly empty and there were about 5 people behind the counter, just ignoring me as they were laughing and chatting. Finally, someone came and took the order. There was apparently no chocolate syrup in the pump so one of the young employees took a bag, walked around to where he thought he couldn't be seen and TORE THE BAG OPEN WITH HIS MOUTH. Furious, I demanded my money back and asked for the manager. The so called manager came over and I told him what I'd seen. He didn't apologize and seemed amused at what had happened. The employee who'd committed the unsanitary act of course denied it, and the manager smirked as he finally handed me back my change. A phone call to the owner of the franchise about this completely unacceptable behavior resulted in nothing - no phone call back, no apology. I'm not sure why I even bother giving this restaurant chances anymore. I'd HIGHLY recommend taking your business to another location.
