  • Overpriced mani-pedi that wasn't even nice. I went in while my partner was getting his eye exam and I had a lot of time to kill. Regular mani-pedi (no shellac, no bells or whistles) was $55 + tax/tip. Ridiculous price, but I guess you're paying for the convenience of the Eaton Centre. Pedicure chairs are uncomfortable vinyl benches. No massage chairs here, and at that price, they should have something so standard. Foot bath was filthy with other people's hair. I had them drain the water and refill it for me cause it was NASTY, and I got some sass from the staff. One person gave me my pedicure, and another rushed over to do my manicure so I had to contort myself into a really uncomfortable position so they could do a rush job. I got chastised by the staff for having short fingernails. Not bitten fingernails, just short. The person doing the manicure had poor eyesight and kept complaining that she couldn't see clearly enough to make sure the nail polish was on properly. It wasn't - I had to touch it up when I got home. At the cash they wanted to charge me separately for the manicure and pedicure because 2 different people did it. I didn't ask for that, they forced it on me. Next time I'll ask a four year old to paint my nails. It will look about the same.
