  • My experience with Plumbing Solutions started out great. I needed someone to install a washing machine pan in my upstairs laundry room. When I called the phones had been transferred to the owner Jerry who was so nice and helpful. He took down my info and told me to call the office in the morning. The next morning Carla in the office called me first thing and offered to have someone come out that day. My washer and dryer were being delivered the following week so I opted to wait since I didn't plan on putting my old washer back in the pan. She set me up with an appt the following Wednesday morning between 9-12. I thought she said they would call and confirm the night before but I could have misunderstood. I didn't receive that confirmation call so a little after 12 I called to check on the status. I spoke with Carla who after asking my name said Oooooo. Which made me feel like my appointment was forgotten. She put me on hold and came back and said that the appointment before mine was running long. I was polite and not trying to be a pain. I asked if she had a time frame because I had to pick up my kids at 3pm (which is why I scheduled a AM appt). She seemed annoyed and said she would call the technician. She called me back and let me know he would be here around 2pm. When he arrived I showed him the area and what needed to be done. Installing a washer pan is an easy job. The only reason I hired someone was because I do not have the tools to cut the drain hole in the thick plastic pan. He seemed a little confused and said he needed parts. I told him what I had was exactly what was there before . The old pan was cracked and I bought a new one. He left to go get the parts and returned an hour later telling me he could do it two ways, the way it was before with no additional parts needed or he could use a part he bought and drill a bigger hole in my floor for the drain and more $$$. He said both options would work fine. Ok so why even offer me the other option? Obviously he didn't need any parts and just wasted another hour when he could have installed the pan already. He was a nice guy but it was a little frustrating. Once he got to work it took about 10 min for him to install the pan. I'm happy with the final product just wish it would have went a little smoother.
