It's a car dealership and buying a car is always a stressful and somewhat adversarial process so I can't give 5 stars. But the fact that they get 4 stars from me illustrates that, overall, I felt good about the people there and the process that we went through. We worked with Weston. He was very nice and knowledgeable about the vehicle I purchased. He answered all questions that we had and never got pushy or rude as many other salesmen do -- we walked away from a deal at Earnhardt Honda in Avondale earlier in the day because their "closer" was a jerk. My only issue with the process at Tempe Honda was that no one ever offered me (or discussed with me) a personalized interest rate on my financing. The estimate sheet offers a standard rate and Weston told me that once I got into the business office they would look at my credit and discuss the interest but that never happened. When I brought it up with Rich, (the finance/contract guy) as he was putting my contract together, he said "I'm not here to negotiate interest rates with you." If that's the case, then who at Tempe Honda is supposed to do that? Fortunately for me I had done prior research and knew the rate I would be offered from a local credit union so we were able to complete the purchase and contract at that rate, but this definitely felt like a gap in service. Nonetheless, we were happy with the deal and with Weston. I would recommend him for sure. He even came out and helped us set up the vehicle (phones, settings, etc.) before we drove off. Much appreciated.
