  • I wanted a cartridge in a specific strain (that calms my spazz-of-a-self down without giving me anxiety, like many strains do) so I used the Leafly app to search nearby dispensaries. It listed a number of locations but being that my finances were tight, I wanted to get the most bang for my buck. I made calls to the options listed to ask about discounts, specials, etc. which brought me to Blackjack Collective; they offer a locals discount of 20% off on Tuesdays! Cheers to them! I had them put aside one of the cartridges and drove over. The building was small, but quaint, clean, nicely decorated - and the best part: they were playing some really good music. They had an ATM on site- thankfully, because I didn't think to stop and pull cash out on the way over and like most other dispensaries, they only take cash. My boyfriend and I browsed the selection, which was just as extensive and varied as some of the larger dispensaries, and then went to check out. We chatted with a couple of the employees who were friendly, down to earth, and didn't give off any sort of pretentious vibe that some highfalutin dispensaries do *you know who you are you damn hipsters*. From the initial phone call to our exit, everything went well. I felt at ease during my interactions with the employees, which for me can be difficult, given my predisposition to anxiety. I'm will definitely be going back and recommend everyone go check them out!
