I can see why the ratings are the way they are with the NOT SO ROYAL TOWING company! Today's event happened when one of their drivers towed in one of our customers cars. Not only did a customer witness this next experience but so did one of my employees(well it was directed at him). We have a process at our store where we place the many tow ins we get next to a chain link fence, first it's out of the way of the truck blocking any of the 200+ cars we see daily and secondly it gives the driver of the tow truck room for his truck to extend his flatbed and have enough room to drop the vehicle. So my 19 year old lot tech nicely shares this with him the above stated information and the driver gets completely belligerent with him, so much so the customer was taken back! My lot tech felt humiliated while this was going on and all he was doing was his job. Needless to say once I heard about this I was pissed. But wait there's more, the driver decides to drive into the service drive for a couple of minutes and stare him down while he was in one of the offices. Now mind you this is a grown man, trying to intimidate a teenager. Nice business practice UN ROYAL TOWING! It doesn't even end there, I called them after I had some info and shared with the "manager" Sam that it would be in their best interest to get him off the road for starters and to have the owner of UN ROYAL TOWING call me on my direct line. I told her I would blast this on social media everywhere I could and ask my friends in the valley to make them popular by sharing this story of intimidation, it's almost like this guy was trying to bully a school kid. Well let it be known that yelp is only the start all you had to do is call me back and I would have stopped there. I would never recommend to any customer, friend or any of the insurance companies we use to ever continue to do business with (UN) ROYAL TOWING!
