  • I have been the keeper of all the 8mm film taken by our Dad from 1953 to approximately 1970. Needless to say I had many small 8mm file reels to chronically organize as best I could by descriptions on each box. I took them to Peterson's Video Transfer Services in Las Vegas and was greeted by Amanda at the front counter who was very friendly and helpful with my request of transferring the 8mm film reels to DVD. As the film had no sound and I had no idea what background music to use, Amanda also suggested that the technician who would transfer the data was very good at selecting music to go with what was being seen on the film. The DVD's were ready in a few days and when I got home I immediately viewed the DVD's. The technician did a great job with choosing background music and I could not have been happier with what I was watching. Peterson's Video Transfer Services did an excellent job with the 8mm film transfer to DVD.
