  • Dr. Stevens is great! We live in Mesa and had taken our 9 month lab pup to a vet near us who told us we needed to get her sedated X-rays for $600 to determine if she had a torn ACL. We got a recommendation from her breeder that Dr. Stevens could do X-rays without sedation, so we gave his office a call. Upon first glance of the building I was kind of unsure what to expect... a little run down building in a not so great neighborhood. Inside is clean and staff is really nice. Dr. Stevens really impressed me by his ability to do an orthopedic exam on my pups back legs in the exam room to determine that she did not have a torn ACL. She was given an anti-inflammatory and we were recommended to get her on a joint supplement. He was willing to do an X-ray right then if we wanted, but we opted out because he was pretty certain it would not change the plan of treatment. He's not pushy and is reasonably priced. We got outta there with the visit fee and medication for about $85. We will definitely be returning to his practice! Even though it'll take us about an hour drive, he saved us a lot of time and money! So happy we found an awesome vet!
