  • Oh wow. I came for brunch and made the mistake of not ordering one of their signature soul food dishes. The chicken n dumplings looked amazing, and the fried chicken was outstanding. Now don't get me wrong, my meat lover omelet was a perfect balance of very pronounced flavors, but there are unique offerings that should be tried if you never have before. The cornbread? Wow. The biscuits? Yum. Sweet tea? But of course. And don't even get me started on the multitude of fresh cobblers and cakes available by the slice... Plus, Bruce Bruce and Anthony Hamilton frequent this place. And if its good enough for Bruce Bruce, its good enough for me. And a friend.
