| - This was the second time I've been to TC's.
The first time I had the 3 meat combo (Brisket, Rib Tips and Baby Backs, none of these were enjoyable, sorry) with 2 sides (mac n' cheese which was very dry and Cole Slaw very enjoyable). The cornbread was good.
I saw the Yelp gift certificate ($20 for $10) and decided to give it another try.
This time I had the Beef Ribs (very tasty but a lot of FAT and small amount of meat) and the Spare Ribs (this by far has been the best of the meats so far. I went ala carte as I wanted to try the Peach Cobbler. I'm so glad I saved room this cobbler was delish. I would say a lot of time was put into making it. Great flavor! I asked them to bring it to me cold not heated and that they did. With the scoop of vanilla ice cream, I was in heaven!
I believe this is a family owned and run business, started by father and now run by the son. The server I had on my second visit, James, was one of the friendliest and personable I have ever had for a small place. His smile and his truly caring attitude was ever present. He wanted me to have a good meal!
All-in-all, I've rated TC's with three stars mostly based on the service, though I did like the cobbler :) . As for rating TC's for their Ribs, well that would be a thumbs down at this point. Will I go back, yes I'll give them one more try if only for the service, but I'd hope that the ribs will be better the next time..
