| - Where is Robert Irvine? Seriously! I should have looked at Yelp before coming through the door, 2 1/2 stars, and that's being kind. Lay me twll you about our experience...We walked to this unnecessary foyer and unsure which door to enter, follow the walkway to the cash wrap, only to be greeted by a super unfriendly woman, wouldn't kill you to smile when your customers are being nice (3 sets of customers, not a smile). Aside from grouchy greeter taking your money, they also sell cheap plastic earrings at the counter...totally tacky! This place is absolutely filthy! The floors had old food, the tables needs bussed and when I was looking around the chandeliers were super dusty and dirty.. the ceiling was also dusty and darkened. There's broken neons. This was my impression before we even sat down to eat.
I got a bowl of egg flower soup, my favorite however the soup was Luke warm. Doesn't this need to a certain temperature to kill bacteria? So I gave up on that. I made myself a little salad, warm wilted sad salad...no thanks. I walked around and waned to be hopeful because I love Chinese food. I was a little weary of the sushi rolls sitting out, no idea how long they've been sitting there. I loaded my plate with rice, noodles, a spring roll, chicken and broccoli and ragoons. The spring rolls had no flavor, rice was edible, noodles were super salty, but the chicken and broccoli was disgusting (never have I used this word in a review), the chicken was not throughly cooked, had a slimy texture, and room temperature from sitting out...yet theta heat lamps which aren't helping their cause. I had no choice to spit it into a napkin, I felt nauseated a few hours later.
The buffet if $9.99, save your cash and eat PBJ! If the owners actually gave a shit, this wouldn't be happening and clearly I'm not the only one.
