I went this evening for the first time as a walk-in. There really was no format of greeting. I was quickly asked what I was in for. I had gone there to remove a week old acrylic nails( my first time with acrylic or any sort of extension nails and it was uncomfortable for me) along with manicure and a polish change for my toes.
The service was slow. I got seated to get my toes reprinted after 20 minutes and sat for another 30 mins for my acrylic and manicure to be taken off. The lady servicing me with removing the acrylic nails chose not to soak them off( because it would take "20 mins" to get them off) so she decided to cut them low and pop them off, which was painful for me. I didn't understand the 30 minutes I sat in the pedicure chair after my toes were painted, why that would have not been a great time to start the process of soaking them off. Nonetheless, my lady did a great job on my manicure, although I experienced tenderness on my nails for a week from popping the acrylic off.
When it was time to pay, my total came out to be different than what I had originally calculated. While I was waiting to be serviced, I did take time to glance over their price sheet, and it stated that polish change for toes was $8 , however they were trying to charge me $10 for it( which seems overpriced for this service anyway.). After multiple times of talking to the lady saying it is $8 and finally showing them that it is written on their price sheet, she finally accepted it.
I knocked off a star because it was frustrating and disappointing that I was being charged higher than what is advertised on their menu list. I feel that all the employees should be aware of their price sheet that customers have access to and situations such as that should not occur.
