I had done my research on getting a rower...or so I had thought...I checked many stores and the internet and just got confused. It seems there is a big disparity in quality and workout efficiency . I had been using a Concept 2 in the gym and was going to get one but then I went in to At Home Fitness in Ahwatukee and spoke with Pierre who is the GM of the company.
After asking questions about how I worked out, who was going to use it, he said to try them all and start with the one that was most comfortable to me since all rowers do the same thing, that made perfect sense to me and I ended up on a WaterRower Club model , my wife liked the LifeCore better but thought the WaterRower would look better in our new gym area at our house.
We waited a few days to make sure that is what we wanted and then went back and another knowledgeable and nice salesperson answered a few more questions about setting it up,warranty etc and rang us up.
I have had it for 4 weeks and it is great! I built it myself which was a little tricky, the instructions were very clear I am just not too handy!
Pierre knew the most about rowers of anyone I spoke with , he was nice and helped me make a solid decision on my desire for a rower, he rows and even showed my wife the proper technique so she wouldn't hurt her back.
Overall the experience was excellent and the staff made my decision easy and were very nice.
