  • I guess my previous review was taken down. So I will try again...This is a good place to earn a little extra cash. However DO NOT come in here if you are in a hurry, every time I donate there are people in the waiting area mumbling and cursing because they are having to wait. You WILL wait, every single time! The first time you donate, is at least 4 hours give or take and after that initial donation it is about 2-3 hours. They are so short handed, only use about 1/2 of the screening booths at one time and about 1/2 of the donation beds at one time because they do not have enough help. Staff is always talking about difficulty in getting breaks because of this. It has only been this way the past 6 months or so, before that the wait was about 1.5-2 hours, with most booths running and most beds filled. The staff they do have is GREAT! I have never had a problem with anyone. After the special amount you get for being a new donor (I cant remember exact amount, but the first few weeks you get quite a bit more) you get paid $20 for 1st donation of the week and $35 for the second donation of the week. It comes in a debit card, which has limits on where you can use, and fees to use. But I can't tell you exacts because I just save it up, then go online and transfer to my bank account for free. They run lots of specials so you get a little more money here and there, and have raffles occasionally giving away tablets, headphone etc. (not sure why not gift cards or something, I mean most of us are there for extra cash) My only complaint is the fact that they are short staffed. Staff is good, Movies they show on tvs are good, free WiFi that works most of the time. So instead of sitting on your couch staring into your phone, you can come here and stare into it or listen to music and get a little extra cash in your pocket.
