| - We hired 777 to move our 7,800 sq ft office. They had two people come through and view our furniture, cubicles, etc. for the quote. They were specifically asked if they could handle cubicles and they said yes. We read reviews, checked BBB, etc. All seemed fine.
The quote was for 8 men for 16 hours. The first day, 6 men showed up and no one knew how to properly disassemble our furniture. We were significantly behind schedule at 8pm on Day 1. Day 2, two additional men from another company came out with cubicle experience (where were they Day 1?). On Day 3, 777 shuffled their schedule in order to get us additional help beyond the 2 men they sent that morning. We had to be up and functional before we left that day.
The move took a full day longer than estimated. That also delayed our computer and phone installation. 777 charged us another $3,000. On top of that we were charged for the wait time for the IT consultants of another $1,800, which was solely due to 777's underestimation.
So we had to pay nearly $5,000 more than expected because of 777's incompetence and inadequate estimating.
Although the movers worked hard and did their best, they were grossly underestimated by management.
I strongly discourage using 777.
