  • Environment: big metal and glass box, high ceilings, very noisy, nondescript; bathrooms were not clean (this always makes me wonder about the cleanliness of the kitchen) Food: entrees are on the expensive side for this kind of an environment (average: $20); Burgers - which is what Heck's has been famous for are reasonably priced and good - appreciate that the beef is Ohio, grass-fed. Soggy fries. Salads: just ok (my romaine was a little less than crispy/fresh and it looked like the accompanying ingredients were simply tossed on the plate (no thought to presentation) Service: So-so Overall impression: I prefer Heck's Ohio City location. Avon has a way to go before we venture back out there for food. Tremont, Ohio City, Gordon Square, Lakewood, even Rocky River -- all have much better offerings
