  • I'm on the short side. I may have even lied on my driver's license, putting my height at 5 feet 5 inches. Unfortunately, most designer jeans have a 32 inch inseam, and I'm closer to a 29 inch inseam. Alterations are a frequent and necessary for my wardrobe to remain well-fitting. I choose American Dry Cleaning because it is on my daily route and it advertises alterations on all of the windows. I have been continually pleasantly surprised with the level of service I get from the owner because it is unwaveringly fantastic! It only costs $12.00 to hem a pair of jeans, and they dry clean them when they are done with the alteration. I love skinny jeans which are not the easiest type of jeans to hem, but they come out flawlessly every time. They even make an effort to match the new hem with the original. Once, I even brought in a pair of jeans I tried to hem myself. And American Dry Cleaning effortlessly saved the hems. In fact, they look better than ever! I love this place, and $12 is unbeatable!!
