  • I took my girlfriend here recently for a "girl's spa day." My girlfriend had a great experience with Carmen and said she really liked her and would definitely go back and see her. My appointment was with Stephanie and it was really bad and disappointing. My friend was greeted for her appointment promptly at 12:30. At 12:45 I confirmed with the receptionist that my appointment was also at 12:30 as no one had come to get me for my appointment yet. The receptionist said she would call my aesthetician since she hadn't arrived. At that point I was really annoyed that she wasn't even at the spa yet for her 12:30 appointment at 12:45? She finally rushed in the door at 12:50 with no apologies. I told the receptionist I wanted to reschedule since my appointment was starting so late and my girlfriend would have to be waiting for me afterwards. I went ahead with the facial and I really wish I would not have. Stephanie tried explaining to me that her equipment wasn't working but I really didn't care. It was really rude of her to be late and not apologize for it and if her equipment was broken she should have arrived early! Stephanie was really unprofessional and didn't really seem to know what she was doing. My skin type is obviously sensitive and she put a peel on my face that burned and left my skin really red. She offered to use the dermaplane on me in hopes to "compensate" but there is no way I would go back and see her. She made my experience there really disappointing. I will probably go back to Body Beautiful but I will be sure to AVOID Stephanie at all costs. The salon overall was really nice and they seem to offer a wide variety of services at a rate that is substantially less than the resort spas in town.
