| - I used to come to this place each year when I needed a pedicure. My last one will indeed be my last. The owner has started treating his employees with disrespect, and customers now too. I went for a pedicure around August/September (you'll understand the late review in a minute), and the nail girl cut me 3 times. Not enough to really hurt me, but my toes were bleeding a bit which she quickly hid w/ the blue liquid. The polish job was poor. A month and a half later, I had a really bad ingrown toe nail on two of the 3 toes she cut me on. I did not touch my nails after the pedicure myself at all. When I went back for a haircut a month later, my hair stylist told me to go back and tell the owner. I did, and he basically said it was not his fault, I would have to pay for a new pedicure! I told him, I had NEVER had an ingrown toe nail before and he blamed the way my nails grow. Ironic that I had 3, 1 bad enough to turn my toe red and very warm to the touch due to it getting infected, all on the same toes the girl cut me on. I was kind of embarrassed as I tried to keep my voice down when explaining to him what was going on, but he did not when he was practically yelling at me that it was not his fault. He did agree to trim the bad one to which he put me in the pedicure chair, and DUG...let me repeat that, DUG into the side of the ingrown toenail as far as the little tool would go to get the toe nail out. I was practically in tears. I will NEVER go back to this shop. The owner is rude if you have a problem with the service, he treats his employees like crap, and the music is way too loud. Someone please tell him Cher and Celine Dion in concert at 180,000 decibels is beyond ridiculous!
I found a shop closer to home that is cleaner, everyone is polite, they fixed the other two nails that were ingrown, and I haven't had a problem since. Plus, at my new shop, I can get a mani and a pedi for the same price he charges for a pedi.
