| - My husband and I had been told by lady who just had her baby not too long ago, that Dr. Jawadi was amazing and she did great with her and her pregnancy throughout, so we decided to take her word for it. My scheduled appointment just passed yesterday Wednesday July 6th 2016.
(Need I remind you, I am pregnant for the FIRST time. I lived in California and been in Vegas for almost a year and six months now. So I really do not know many doctors or anything at all for that matter because I've never been pregnant).
We arrived an hour or more earlier than my scheduled appointment, they took me in faster than I thought we'd have to wait and we were liking it already because of that.
The nurse was a ball. She was nice, she checked my blood asked me a few questions and we even joked a little bit (she had me pee in a cup-to double check that I was pregnant)
My husband and I finally meet Dr. Jawadi. She's was nice, she wasn't unprofessional looking at all, but it wasn't super upbeat and happy as I thought it would be either (being that-it-was-my-first-time-and-all.((she knew it too))
Now, I might be the person to try to find an excuse or a reason behind everyone's actions, but maybe she was tired? Ate too much because it was slightly after lunch time, Or maybe she just had a bad day or something, because she had an "ehhh-i-dont-wanna-be-here-" attitude...
She did not walk in with a chart, she walked in empty handed.. After introducing ourselves, she checked me and let me know everything was good down there. (The nurse was doing perfectly fine)
Dr. Jawadi did told us that in three more weeks we would do have scheduled a sonogram. And she made it clear that since she knew I was taking gummie vitamins that she wasn't going to prescribe any prenatals for me. I asked "aren't the pills better than gummies?" she continued further on saying they do the same and that she would give me some samples of some and when I went back to let her know if I liked them and then she would prescribe me more. Whereby I've heard from previous friends with kids say that their doctors give out no matter what But I took her word for it, and she gave me two sample boxes with prenatal pills in it..
But it did not occur to me untill we headed back to our car, that she didn't even tell me how far I was into my pregnancy and or even a "due date" I'm not sure how standard procedure is with all doctors or that if they are all different with the way they do things but I didn't get a good vibe happy vibe and I didn't leave my first doctor's appointment satisfied with Dr. Jawadi. I was told nothing about the baby, I didn't feel super comfortable to ask questions because it all seemed like everything was in a hurry for some odd reason and it just did not feel right. .
The office ladies in the front desk were absolutely nice, they did they performed their job perfectly, I'd say five stars for them, same for where the location is because its in a decent location and same as the nurse. Unfortunately we left unsatisfied with the doctor.. My husband and I spoke about this whole thing, We are changing doctors.
