This may be the only place in America that I man can walk into a place and get a 'Tramp Stamp' and a 'Dutch Oven' and still walk away happy.
The Clevelander is a perfect semi-hole in the wall bar and grill located only a block or so from the Indians stadium. There are plenty of tv's to check out sports, a large bar and plenty of tables. The waitresses are very friendly and perfect for handing a bunch of testosterone driven 35+ year old men who act like 12 year olds. The waitress could handle her own with us smart asses, she even asked us if we were all there for the Cher concert, despite us all in baseball gear. (apparently Cher was also playing at another venue close by).
We all started off with a Yuengling then ordered our sandwiches. I ordered the Dutch Oven. This was a perfectly cooked burger with applewood bacon, carmelized onion and smoked gouda. I have never had gouda cheese on a burger but it was great!!! It also came with homemade chips and homemade dip. Perfect bar food.
We stayed for quite awhile, long enough to drink 4 or 5 beers before the game. The waitress let me sample 2 other beers so I ended up ordering a 'Clown Shoe's Tramp Stamp'. This is a double IPA and I'm not usually an IPA guy but the waitress told me it wasn't very hoppy. They know their beer here.
So stop on in for a Dutch Oven and Tramp Stamp, you won't leave feeling violated.
