  • This has been the worst treatment I've ever experienced being a Costco Member. My mother and I rode our bikes in 100+ degree weather to put air in our bicycle tires. There was a gentleman by name of Rob who was extremely rude and condescending. When we first pulled up my mother asked Rob if he could assist her with air in her tire. He ignored her. She then asked him again if he could air her tires up and he threw his finger up at her. I assume he was saying "hold On"no other acknowledgement was given. He kept working on whatever he was doing . She asked him for a third time and he walked over to the air pump and threw it on the ground and pointed to it as if she was a dog and still didn't say a word. My mother went in the office and asked to speak with a manager. She was told there aren't any managers there today. A stranger who over heard the conversation came out to assist us. I requested a manager as well and Rob told me there aren't any managers. Another gentleman (costco associate) came out and stated they cannot fill our air as it is a liability to the company. At this point the stranger had already Assisted in airing up the tires. The stranger was not a Costco employee he was another Costco member getting tires. A Costco associate in a white outfit with red hair came out and I asked him for a manager. He did call a supervisor by name of Mark who came and took the report on how Rob treated us. This has been one of the worst experiences in my life. I am a Costco memeber and I can't believe the customer service is so poor at this location on 15 th ave and Bethany Home road. This experience has made me NEVER want to spend another dime with this corporation if the customer service is so poor. I have been a Costco member for 17years and never have I been treated nor talked to so poorly. The funny thing is both myself and my mother both work in customer facing environments and we both understand what customer service means to such a large corporations. I am an instructor who trains classes particularly in customer treatment and the way we were treated is unacceptable to any corporation. I feel if these associates do not want to deal with clients maybe they should not work in a customer facing environment where customer service is held to such a high standards or maybe Costco doesnt care about their members and that's possibly why Rob felt the need to treat us so callously, rude and condescending. I will NEVER shop at this location again I will spread the word to others about the way this location treats their members. Thanks for reading.
