After our flight out of Pittsburgh was cancelled early Sunday afternoon and rebooked for Monday morning at 7am, we needed to find a hotel close to the airport.
We found a great deal on a room at the Hyatt on Priceline, which was originally $160. I would not have wanted to pay full price for this, but at $80 it was a steal. Imagine our delight to find that the hotel is attached to the airport.
Since we were car-less, we asked for a shuttle ride to a restaurant about 10 minutes away. They gladly obliged. There is a bar in the lobby also that is open until 1am, which was nice after getting back from dinner. Micros from Church BrewWorks were a fairly good deal.
Rooms were nice, clean, and bed was comfy.
And in the morning it was extremely convenient to drag ourselves out of bed and walk into the airport and the security line within 5 minutes.
Stay for a night if you're flying in/out of the airport. Don't stay here if you're hanging out in Pittsburgh for a few days- this will not be close or convenient.
