| - I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel! The design is super interesting and unique, it has a bit of a loft vibe with the high ceilings and open concept in the lobby, concrete walls and exposed piping on the ceiling. It has a pantone/colour block kind of theme too, with a colourful picture wall in the lobby, colourful painted walls and decor, and each floor is a different colour theme.
The rooms were a bit small, but comfortable enough for one person. You definitely need to book one of the bigger rooms if you have more than 2 people. Privacy in the room might be an issue if you are sharing with another person, since the bathroom has swinging doors (kind of like a closet) and the shower faces into the bedroom LOL.
I liked that the hotel tries to be environmentally friendly, since the room light are key card activated so they turn off when you leave the room, and there is a recycling bin in every room.
There is a little bar/cafe downstairs which has okay food... although quite overpriced with sandwiches being $6.95, yogurt for $3.00, etc. Cocktails are about $11.25. There is a small but reasonably equipped gym on the 14th floor, which is usually not too busy, so you can get privacy while you work out. Also there is a pool table close to the bar, and there are usually not a lot of people using it, which is nice.
The hotel is just steps away from the Link train, so it is super easy to get to the airport if you need to catch a flight, or if you are just looking for options for food.
I would definitely pick this hotel over any other if I need to stay in this area again! Definitely a really cool concept, beautiful design, and unique experience!
