We celebrated my wife's birthday at Portofino; fantastic!
The staff was upbeat, informative and spot on. The "Crab Cake Arancini" was, by far, the best crab cake I have ever eaten; there was plenty of crab and the lemon saffron risotto binder brought all the flavors together magnificently. The veal saltimbocca with sage potato gratin, while not the traditional saltimbocca had all of the great flavor combinations of the traditional saltimbocca, but the veal could be enjoyed on its own. My wife's branzino was perfectly cooked, presented and flavored. You may think tiramisu is tiramisu, but this again was clearly a cut above. Enjoy!
