Came here awhile ago and found this new bbt/Taiwan desert place. When my friends and I went inside, the place was packed. Line up wasn't too bad but all the seats and table were filled. We thought about getting their signature dessert but since there weren't any seats available..mind you people aren't really leaving either..and there's really nowhere else to sit when you go outside. We decided to get drinks instead. I personal love creama drinks (e.g Sharetea). Creama is a thick layer of slight salted frothy cream floats on to of a tea drink. So, when I saw they has it as well. I was very excited to give it a try. I ordered the taro creama and came with great disappointment. First of all, the creama itself was way too salty. I noticed they sprinkle salt on top of the creama when it's supposed to be already mixed inside. Not sure if the creama already salted or they're just adding more salt to top it off..secondly, the taro was purely made from powder and the taste of the drink just doesn't blend well with the creama at all. I guess I should've known better that seems like only Chatime and few places would combine real taro in the drinks. My friends ordered fresh mango creama which taste a bit better compare to mine but it still taste weird with the creama. After all, real fruits always beats artificial flavors.
Service: As I mentioned the line up isn't too long so we were able make our order within few minutes. The wait time for getting our drinks were awfully long. 25mins of waiting time was a bit much. That I had to constantly ask them how much longer do I have to wait.. I noticed people who were behind us already sat down having their dessert. Mix of orders?! I don't know but definitely very disorganized.
Even with my bad experience, I'm not discourage to come back again. Their dessert seems like the best seller on the menu. I've seen how they made it and portion size are quite generous consider the price which isn't too bad. I would definitely go for the dessert next time!
