| - I went in on a Thursday night, with an appointment,to simply remove some acrylic nails (with gel on top) and then receive a manicure. First of all, it seemed like 2 of the employees were debating on who would take me as a client even though I felt it was a simple request. Finally, I was told which station to go to, the male employee made a bad impression on me from the start because he was eating pretzels as he began to remove my nails (super unsanitary). He kept sighing the whole time as if he was annoyed that he had to remove my nails. I needed to remove my nails to do a practical exam for school, and I explained this more than once. Let me defend myself by saying I am not picky when it comes to getting services, and I work as a bartender so I know how terrible customers can be which is why I try to be easy-going. As I am getting my service, the male employee tells me it will be $20 for the manicure and I agreed as he continued. Right before he added my nail polish, he asked me to pay so I wouldn't ruin my pale pink nail polish and I agreed. At the time I had forgotten how much the service was so I asked again which he rudely responded " I told you how much already..$20..no $25". To which I responded, " Well, I don't work here so how would I know" (This is when I had had enough of his uncalled for attitude) Long story short, he skipped my hand massage and did a crappy job with my polish, which I had to remove when I got home. The receptionist was really nice and understanding when I told her the situation but the manager (?) or owner not sure came up and when I told him the situation I sensed some attitude as well. All I wanted was an apology.. I even said I didn't want my hand massage anymore I just wanted them to be aware. I still tipped over 20% and didn't ask for my money back...I was appalled with how I was treated especially since I felt I was nice to everyone, even the nail tech before all the attitude. I will never return and I want everyone who reads this to save their money and go somewhere else where the employees can learn to be decent or even semi-friendly.
