| - Wow, this place was bigger than I thought it would be!
I am glad that the Colosseum has it's own dedicated valet and self parking, however, it was a total shit show trying to get out of there after the show. I parked in valet, and you would think that this was the 1st show the venue has ever hosted. It was an absolute nightmare!
My other gripe about this venue (and many others in Vegas) is the very small concession stand. This is Vegas and people want to have a drink with their show! However, I don't want to stand in line for 30 minutes in order to get it. Get more staff or something....Many people were still in line when the show started. So, if you plan on getting water, soda, a cocktail or snack before the show - get there EARLY so you can wait in the long ass line.
The staff overall seemed nice and helpful. Security here is no joke - I was here to see Shania Twain and they made it clear that there was no photography allowed. The security officers were EVERYWHERE and I even saw them kick someone out for taking pictures. So, they ain't messing around.
The theater is right near the entrance to the Forum Shops, so it is very close to many restaurants (and right across from the new Gordon Ramsay Pub that looks to be almost complete).
My seats were in the "rear orchestra, section 512," which I thought were going to be bad seats. Turns out they were pretty OK. I can see how the balcony seats would be further from the stage, but I doubt there are really any bad seats.
