La fitness and I have always had a love hate relationship but i'm pretty alright with this gym as to the location at Bakery Square.
The Pros: They have a Pool and a Steam Room, a Ladies only Workout Room a large room on two levels and a variety of classes. The staff is helpful and friendly and unless you are part of the rushhour crowd there should always be available machines. The locker rooms are clean. They have a smoothie bar and a video room.
The Cons: A little pricey as it's a Signature Club, where as the only differentiator is the pool and it's only 3 lanes. You need to upgrade in price if you want to use any of the other locations. The towel service is subpar, most of them are frayed and need to be retired, if there are any in the first place. There aren't many outlets for wipes to clean the machines after use which makes everything a little bit gross. I had the hardest time trying to cancel my service and remove my ex-boyfriend from my card despite being told this already happened, I continued to not only get charges but also $5 charges as he kept using different facilities. They told me there was no way for those to get reimbursed as the service was rendered no matter that it was rendered when it was supposed to not have given him possibility of usage at all.
Opportunity for Improvement: I wish there was Wi-Fi service, you can sneak the free wi-fi from the Free People store underneath the gym, but I think this should be a new draw as you would be able to link into the music screens provided at the gym.
All in all not bad, but you should expect a little more for the price.
