  • Debbie. Is. Awesome. Let me just preface this review with saying... this was my first wax... of any kind... besides my eyebrows... ever. When I arrived at Esthetique this morning and met Debbie she was super friendly and calming. She told me that the absolute worst part of the process was the anticipation and build up, that yes it would be uncomfortable, but that it really isn't as bad as everyone thinks. She instructed me to undress from the waist down, and she left the room - knocking a few minutes later after I'd had time to get situated on her table. She said she'd walk me through the whole process, and even offered to hold my hand if need be! Offering up some pointers on spots that are a little more sensitive than others, as well as spots that you won't even notice, she starts! Within about 35 minutes or so, she was all done. We had chatted the whole time, and not just awkward "she's looking at my hoo-hah" small talk, but Debbie seems to have a genuine interest in her clients. I will absolutely go back in the next 4-6 weeks. Debbie was so nice, and as gentle as you can possibly be during this particular appointment. I also learned while I was there that she does facials, and skin care appointments as well! 1 Brazilian wax down, many more to come - always with Debbie at Esthetique!
