Well I suppose it is time for me to leave my review of LVI. I got my laser eye surgery (PRK) done on Dec 29th, 2017 and it was the best decision I have made and like others, wish I had gotten it done years ago. Don't listen to all these bad reviews about pricing and Groupon and $299 special. That's if you have just somewhat bad eyes. But like most who get lasik (or PRK) our eyes are beyond bad so it costs more the worse your eyes are. Most places cost about the same as I checked out a couple other places too, but what I like about LVI is they offer lifetime corrections (as long as you get a yearly eye exam with dilation). The staff and doctors there worked with me and aren't just trying to make a sale. My left eye prescription kept fluctuating and they would not do the surgery until it showed a stable reading. So I went back multiple times until my eye was normal and got the go ahead to get the surgery done. I do recommend doing your own research on whatever procedure you get because, as other reviews mentioned, they don't go into full detail about just how light sensitive you will be and the uncomfortable stinging your eyes will have while recovering (for PRK). Again do your research. Follow the instructions for pre and post surgery and you'll be good to go. Day of surgery was a lot of waiting as they have to recheck your eyes and you wait for others to get their surgery done. They had movies on on the waiting room and snacks and drinks so it wasn't too bad. Surgery time comes and it's literally 5 minutes in the surgery room for prep, 10 seconds each eye for laser, and you're good to go. I think the main selling point for me was how nice and professional the eye doctors were with answering any and all questions. Sarah was also a big selling point too and took the time to go over everything with me and answer any questions I had and made sure everything was good to go. My vision is great after a month of having PRK and I have since gone snowboarding and done mud runs without glasses or contacts.
