This is my newest dessert shoppe that i am in love with. First of all, the flavors are unique. Blond kinako brown butter is my favorite. It is like a sophisticated less sweet caramel. The black sesame salted duck egg tastes like a less sweet mooncake (in a good way because i hate lotus paste). The HK milk tea is spot on. The vietnamese coffee is good, but I prefer the mercury espresso ice cream flavor from Ed's if we are talking about an ice cream with a major caffeine jolt.
They also sell store baked goods with an asian twist. I enjoyed the ube polvoron pie that came with my sundae. What i loved especially was the mango condensed milk drizzle on the sundae. Guys...i would drink that stuff if i could. Unfortunately, i think their rainbow sundaes are only available in the warmer months.
If you enjoy your jokes with an edge of meanness to it, please buy the misfortune cookies before you leave! I haven't been able to find them elsewhere and i chuckle each time i get roasted by these cookies.
Pro-tip: mixing the HK milk tea ice cream with bar ape's hazelnut gelato and milk for the ultimate milkshake is bomb.com. You are welcome.
