  • I realllyyyy wanted to give Meat & Potatoes a 4-5 star, but when it comes down to it, the service we had made me rate 3 Stars. I have been wanting to come here for years and just made it this weekend for a friend's birthday. Since it was her birthday, we made reservations for 10 in the private room in the back. This is was super fun and intimate for a group of friends- I would recommend it for a large group! We started off with some drinks around the table. I wanted something different than I usually order, so I chose the Corpse Reviver. Highly recommended! We also started with the fried Brussels and fried pickles- both delicious! I was going back and forth between a few different items on the menu, but Chris convinced me to split the 45 oz ribeye with him. We ordered the ribeye medium rare with the broccoli as our side and chimichuri sauce. Besides the fact that we had to send back the ribeye because it was almost completely rare, everything was so good! The only thing disappointing was the service from our waiter. He was not friendly at all and seemed very annoyed with our group because we were chit chatting instead of looking at the menu. For as much money as we spent here, it would have been nice to have a better service experience. I look forward to coming back in the future and hopefully have a better experience.
