  • Agree with the last commenter Rollie B about the few strongly worded 1 star reviews. (Notice, that they only have 1 review posted, seems fishy). I only give 4 stars as almost anyone and anyplace has room for some improvement. Anyway, we have been eating at Shanghai Club for over 10 years when we lived in Anthem. Just stopped in tonight for carry out rather than dine in. I cannot think of a time when I have been disappointed. It has been consistently good, fast and generous portions, whether for lunch or dinner. It has always been clean and restroom has been attended to. Water and beverages were always served promptly. This is not one of those places where the waiter/waitress will sit and talk with you, etc. Get cheeky with conversation, but that is not to say it hasn't been good service. It is no non-sense ordering. You place your order and in minutes the food comes. Isn't that what eating out is suppose to be? Long and short, it is good, hot, fast food in a calm and relaxing environment. They do get very very busy at times, people got to be realistic. Will continue dining at Shanghai Club when in the area.
