WOW.... here's my story of Hillestad.
So in June, I bought my "new" home. It was noted at closing that my furnace didn't work, so my realtor called Hillestad to have it checked out. The tech found the problem and charged a small sum of money to fix it.
I never really knew what they did to correct the problem, as I left it up to my realtor to get the furnace in good order.
Being on the dawn of winter, I called Hillestad to set up a fall service of my furnace as I've no clue if, or when, the previous owners serviced the thing. I called the Lodi office and a very nice woman answered. She explained that in June, the tech serviced the furnace as part of the repair process to get my furnace up and running. WOW. She said there was no need to have the service done at this point, but in the spring I should have the a/c and furnace serviced at that time. "No need to spend your money now" she said.
I can't believe how honest these folks were. I'd never had good experiences with HVAC repairs (see my review of another Madison HVAC company), but I will ALWAYS call Hillestad if needed in the future. They could have taken my money and I would have never known I didn't need any work. Their honesty has earned my future business.
