  • I was very disappointed at my last stay at this hotel. We were having a family vacation stopping through Cleveland and decided to stay here because it had a suite to accommodate us comfortably. After a long tiring day, we checked in and ordered food for the family. As soon as we set the food on the counter, ROACHES crawled from under the counter and onto the pizza boxes I guess from smelling the food! We were disgusted and we were disappointed. We immediately lost our appetites and wasted $30 worth of food due to the in convenience. My fiance used to work for Terminix for 5 years so he knows what the look like. After inspecting the room further, roach eggs were found under the counter tops and roach baits were found in the cabinets so clearly maintenance KNEW there was an issue. We took pictures of everything. We could not stay and packed up the kids and left. WE wasted time, money, mileage and sleep. I am a Marriott Rewards member and I never experienced anything like this. The supervisor refunded the room, but that was one day of our vacation we could never get back. Maintenance NEEDS TO CONSULT WITH AN EXTERMINATOR! Sadly, I will never stay there again or recommend that place to anyone. The staff was nice and friendly, but it doesn't change our inconvenience.
