If I could give zero stars I would.
I love Toyota my whole family has toyotas we love them and every dealership but this one I think is amazing. (Maybe I am wrong and this one just always is having a bad day when I come in).
This is the second time I am here and the second time I am not happy w my service. To start with I called ahead and told them I was coming. When I get here no one meets me outside by my car. Not that big a deal but should have been my tip off since at ever Other Toyota dealership i have gone to some one is out there greeting me before j can even unbuckle. (I have been to dealers with this car in several states and at ever one but Riverview I am greeted at the car) I than walk in and and still no one even looks up or says hi to me. I stop someone walking by and ask them if they could point me to Eddie I have an appointment w him. I was told where his desk was and they when to get him. I started to hope that I was just over reacting. Eddie finally come up and doesn't say hi just asked what I am there for. I say my name and that I am here w the Prius. No recollection of the phone call I places before coming over. And my phone call was with Eddie. He continues to do other things while I explained again why I am in. I don't mind having to tell you why I am here again I am sure you are busy but at lest look up at me while I talk. We go out to look at my car. The plastic under carriage was coming off. And he tells me it can't be fixed but will need to be replaced. Ok no problem I had a feeling I would need to do that. He than tells me they can take that off for me and that I will be good to go. I have to ask shouldn't I get that fixed tho? And he replied with "at some point". I am sorry I am here for you to fix my car. I than ask well do I need to? Eddie "yes". Ok so I think we should do that now than. Eddie "I guess I will look and see if we have the part" he goes and looks and than tells me how he has narrowed it down to two parts but doesn't know what one it is I need but they will put my car up there and find out for me. I ask him to do that. I do not feel that I should be fighting w an empty car dealership to fix my car.
He than asked what I do and I told him he than told me how I need a truck I said I was happy w my Prius. He told me that they might need to order the part and I said that's ok I will just leave my car if I have to. He than said why would you leave your car. He didn't seem to get it when I replied w because if you have to order the part you won't be able to fix my car today. And I don't think I should be driving a car w a hunk of plastic hanging on the ground
It continued in this way the rest of the time and now I am sitting here in the waiting area wondering why I am letting someone who doesn't seem to want my business fix my car.
*side note as I sit in Toyota writing this I am hearing the staff call each other b*#%# not really the family friendly tone I would expect.
** right before I am about to hit submit Eddie comes over to tell me. They are fixing my car and than it will be done soon. He than starts to talk to me about hockey. The only time he seemed to even care that I was there was when I was talking about sports.
Over all yes my car got fixed so I am happy but I am there for you to fix my car so do your job welcome your customers and don't make me feel like I am beezy because I my car to be fixed before I drive it again
