  • I contracted a very serious skin infection after getting my nails done here. Please beware. I got a mani pedi, fill, and gel. While I was getting my pedi the male tech was tending to my hands. I felt a scratch and a slight burn on my right hand just above my wrist. I thought at the time it was just a slip of a sharp tool that had nicked my wrist but 30 minutes after my appointment my hand/wrist was burning, itching, and small boils started to appear. I tried to keep the clustered are clean and covered until I could see a dermatologist. I had the area biopsied and treated. I was told it was a nasty and very serious infection. I had to take a couple rounds of antibiotics, steroids, and various creams to treat this and was told that now that I was exposed to this type of virus that there was a strong chance it could return. This has been a total nightmare! It hurt, itched, and burned. Please think twice before putting yourself at risk.
