  • I had never heard of a store specifically devoted to bundt cakes until I came across Bundtz. As it was our first time visiting, we tried a 12 pack of the 2-bite bundt cakes. My favourite flavours were the pumpkin spice and carrot. For these two, I believe the pumpkin and carrot ingredients helped provide moistness to the cakes. The other flavours we tried included chocolate chip, peanut butter (and jelly?), chocolate, and a colouful vanilla swirl one, among others. For these cakes, I found them a bit dry. I suspect that they dry out quickly since they are so small. I enjoy a good icing, so I found the small amount provided a little lacking. Although, I will point out that the store did have containers of cream cheese icing available for sale. For those that don't care for icing, though, these would be a good alternative to cupcakes. Next time, I'll try cakes larger than the two bite size, in hopes that dryness won't be as much of an issue.
