| - First off , we stayed here last year and , besides a few disappointments, it was a very pleasant experience, so we decided to book a room here again, this time we got a bigger room, as we brought our 5 kids.
Immediately things went wrong , first the tub in the bedroom didn't have hot water, and it was not comfortable for my young daughters to take a bath, as if that wasn't enough, as I'm unpacking groceries, I see ants crawling all over the kitchen counter, so I call the front desk, and someone comes in to spay, the kitchen, then the TV in the second room doesn't work, and so I have to call the front desk a second time, and someone else comes, and tells me that they can't fix it, and someone else will have to fix it, the next day, not such a big deal, unless your a kid , on vacation.
Then I'm cooking thanksgiving dinner and the stove kept turning off while I was cooking, not a big deal, but I was already irritated, so it just added to my disappointment.
The BIG, kicker was , when we came back from spending the day out with our kids, and the kitchen was full of ANTS. you could imagine, my mood. I call the front desk, where I was transfered to guest service, where I'm told ,that they can offer me a smaller room, and that I needed a receipt, for the food that was lost. It was 11 pm, I have 5 kids , and you want me to pack stuff, and move to a SMALLER room? And I have to provide you with a receipt for the food that was obviously contaminated, with ants ? Really, because I didn't buy the food, that's in my room?
Someone did come to fumigate, and he was very nice, and understanding, and I tried my best not to take my frustration out on Him , and I really hope I didnt. I told him how the "manager requested a receipt and even he was appalled. SHM.
TO THINK, THAT WE ALMOST BOUGHT A TIMESHARE WITH THIS COMPANY, EARLIER THAT DAY.
